In the morning, Ning called me and represented Tao Chu to invite me whether I am interested in going to 'Lao Beijing' restaurant at Burwood. Of course! No doubt! I am someone who regales gourmet very much. So we get to the restaurant we pick out and order common beijing-style dishes, comprising Jing Jiang Rou Si, Di San Xian, Gan Shao Huang Yu, and Liang Ban Du Si. WOWWWWW! Long time no touch them and feel like I get back Beijing.

 

After dinner, we decide to move on to Norton Street at Leichhardt where is a stylish suburb full of Italian cafes and restaurants, luxury European style retail stores and is a recognized domain of Sydney Italian community.  When we enter into Italian council city located in Norton Plaza, we feel like we are hanging out in Europe, typical flaxen and red Italian building, original coffee shop, statuary, fountain.....I have to agree it is pretty damn good and I believe you will love this area right now at the first sight. We pitch on a cafe and order Chocolate Mud Cake, Blackberry Cheese Cake and coffee then sit there to try to experience what kind of life Italian has. The desserts are not very sugar and just what I like. I love the food, the place and determine to visit those closed retail shops at daytime as it opens.

这两天让自己很忙，因为讨厌在家当个可怜的怨妇，嫉妒别人和家人享受团圆的欢乐。

 

昨天早上起来，马上上网查Great Union at George Street 几点演Casino Royale，12点！OK,赶10：53的火车没问题，daochidaochi(北京话，但不会写），飞奔出门。Oh Yah!本人就喜欢自己看电影，而且还是惦记已久的片子。11：30到达Great Union,排队，轮到我了，正准备交钱，Jiang Ning打电话，问我在哪，我说，“正交钱没电影票呢。”她告诉我，“别看了，我带你去Palm Beach."得！！！赶紧和售票员道歉，拿回自己的钞票，直奔Neutral Bay 和她汇合。坐上她的银色Peogert 307,途径Manly, Sea Forth, Dee Why, Collaroy,最后到达Palm beach。那可是Sydney十大富人区之一啊！一幢幢宏伟漂亮的mansion环山而建，估计每个都要好几个million。据说，这个区住着Sydney1940-1959的富人，虽然他们可能已不在，但他们的家业是首屈一指的。居民区对面是另一座山，山顶是lighthouse，那里是最高点。于是迫不及待爬到lighthouse，往下一看，喔塞！山下有两个海滩被一条长长的沙滩割开，一边是与海相连的海滩，白色的海浪一个接一个袭来，另一边是人工开发出的小bay,把海水引进来，便于sailing，同时seaplane也可以在此起落。从另一侧往远望去，就是Central Coast。Gosh!今天忘带相机了，要不能拍好多照片，我这个人一惯认为照相是要看天气、景物和心情的，不知下次再来，是否能有同样的感受shooting.欣赏完景色，下山，到唯一的Cafe店休息休息，坐在遮阳伞下，吃着Ice Cream喝着Coffee，看着周围的水，你说能不美吗？休息差不多了，我们每人分别背上一个camping chair往沙滩走去，让海风吹拂着脸，看着周围享受sunshine的人们，我们两聊着家常，惬意极了！.....时间过得真快，一看表，赶快回去，因为我们只交了3个小时car parking的钱。警察叔叔！！！晚了几分钟，无论怎么说sorry,$77的fine还是撕给你了。Fucking cop!回家，又忙着做饭，讨厌的头疼开始了，吃了两片止疼药，慢慢到是不疼了，但失眠老毛病犯了，凌晨4点才睡着。

 

今天早上8：00起床，因为9：00-10：00学车，而且今天要去Beverly Hill RTA熟悉路况。第一次走大马路，有点紧张，第一次驶过绿灯感觉有点刺激，不过估计我的instructor Simon比我害怕。哈哈！！还算顺利，虽然Simon只说还可以，我已满足，姑奶奶我今天可是第一次开大路，知足了！

 

回到家赶紧换好衣服，去负下一个约会---和Dora约好11：30Central train station.我们2004年曾经选了同一门课，当时她比我早好几个intake又是学MIB的，但我们一直保持电话联系，由于她生小孩，一直没功夫见面，今天终于可以如愿已偿了。先去Gloria Jean's喝coffee,然后去吃日本饭，最后又到Starbucks小坐，反正我们两有说不完的话，真的是两个女人一台戏。最后她又领我去她老公Newtown的News agent看看，那是他们刚租半年的店铺，可真大啊，足有2-3百平米。他们两搭配挺好，女的在office 有个稳稳当当的工作，男的做生意挣大钱，好！

 

5：00多又开始往家赶，做饭去！做完饭，洗衣服。

 

明天主动申请上班，虽然别人还继续annual leave,自己觉得无聊要求拒绝休息，于是被发配到Chatswood site上班，又要6：00多起床了。好了，止笔，洗澡去了。

 

 

今天是圣诞，清晨很早起来，看着空荡荡的马路和寂静的房屋，自己好想家。于是努力寻找任何可以收拾或者清洗的衣服或是杂务，让自己分散注意力。能干的都干完了，只有9点多，邻居们开始有了动静，出门穿亲戚的，迎接好友来临的。自己越发伤感起来，早已发现，人生最大的敌人是自己，自己最大的敌人就是自己的心志。物质上的困难可以克服，心中的疙瘩只有自己可以解决，而我发现寂寞是心中最大的疾病。为什么？这时候最能考验你的意志与耐力。问问澳洲的中国人，我相信90%以上的人会告诉你寂寞和想家，小时侯曾经看过很多文章关于中国人在美国的的感受，现在我特能理解。我明白为什么他们即便有了物质可还感到空虚，理解为什么他们即便取得瞩目的成绩自己还是觉得失落，体会为什么他们看到中国强大是那么骄傲，感受到他们为什么说自己的根永远在中国......这些你没有在国外生活一段时间是体会不出来的。

 

我并不承认我有多爱国，但我的确很想家。也许你会说，“你回来吧。”是啊，我应该想想我今后的路了.....

 

可目前，我还要面对我必须面对的，所以什么都不要想，马上去干一件我喜欢的事情---熬粥！只要是和我接触过一段时间的朋友都知道我喜欢喝粥，黑的，白的，玉米的，红豆的，莲子的.....思念老姐老妈熬的粥.....

Maggie跟我讲看不懂我写的BLOG，本人英文有限，更悲惨的是没有逻辑性，所以语法、词汇和思路让读者们费解，实在对不起您了！没有办法，很多内容是本人上班无聊时写的，电脑里没有中文系统，所以只好凑合写些前不搭后语的小文章，抒发自己郁闷和孤寂的心情。没有想到一些好朋友很关心本人的澳洲生活，经常关注本人的BLOG，不胜感激！！！！

Smooth dark Lindt chocolate was given by Secret Santa Elliot. I finally made it clear why he asked me what favourite chocolate once he knew I am super chocolate-lover.

 

As to JACOB'S CREEK little bottle wine, should be grateful for Kate' surprise on the last working day before XMAS. We were too impatient to wait 5:00 PM on 22th Dec and counted the time an hour early by COB, kate suddenly carried a box and asked us to go to boardroom, then distributed each one a bottle of wine hanged a card mentioned---You'are a star! Have a wonderful Xmas and thank for all your hard works. She is a little ripper!!!

 

Yoyo and Lucia presented me MAGNOLIA body wash and lotion at the party with them yesterday and  emphasized its very suitable for me. To be honest, I haven't figured out why they thought like that. 

 

BTW, I attended another party at Cabaritta Park where is very closer to Lucia's place yesterday. Its held by Vivian and very nice to see Vivian for the first time although we had rung up and chatted on internet sometimes. Not only did I have yum BBQ, but bought several pieces of dress and jacket on her house sale of lady's clothing. I have to admit that Vivian is really good at picking clothes. In the future, she could be a good helper on shopping. Anyway, also I met new friends, Jenny, Sharon, Hellen, Kenny..........

 

 

Today is the last working day before XMAS. By COB yesterday head office suddenly sent a notice that we could have mufti today. We hate our uniform for ages which is always white or grey unluckily similar style and colour to Priceline uniform. Ridiculously one time Verena and I went to K-MART to buy DVD on sale, a customer came to me and asked where something she needed was cuz she thought I was K-MART staff. What a shame! At that time Verena couldn't help bursting out big laugh. Bloody hell...This morning I put on mauve blouse which gets me look more bright and shiny as long as it is not white or grey or back that normally is used as uniform colour. hanging out in the K-MART, I don't worry to be supposed as staff any more.

XMAS & New Year are at the corner, this means a time for renewal. Its time to clear out the 'worst' because its done and dusted. Just now I learnt a way to move out your the evil or jinx. So just before midnight on Decmber 31 raise your arm to the left and swipe it to the right and your slate will again be clean! You will be ready for whatever comes next.

 

From now on, pls focues on the 'best' and think about how u can do that again or even better next year.

 

 

 

What I want to say now is about what's the difference between developing and developed countries. What happened? This morning heavy raining was coming down, which made somebody like me in bad mood. However Kate told me she loved it. Im wondering there is any particular reason for her. She said she'd like to see someboday clean street by drained water after rain poured down the underground and came out. Its simply legend to take use of recycling rain, especially she enjoys smelling fresh chemical odor. Wow!!!!!!I can imagine what she looks like when she does deeply take a breath in raining. What a lovely girl! 

 

Nobody might decline to think it is a wonderful idea and refuse to use this way, but I worry whether it could be put into practice in China. Why? You can understand if you are a Chinese.

GEEEEEEEEEEEEZ! I've got flush face thank to allergy to Alcohol & seafood got last Sunday night. We went to top 10 Chinese Restaurant ---The Regal in China Town to have dinner with Michille couple. I can say its supposed the best feeeling dinner I've got since I came Sydney.  We ordered four dishes plus one soup, including pippies, beef, Mashroom. chicken with cashew and Cantonese soup. All of were so yum that I'd like to put tongue out to lick my edge of mouth or left on spoon. Dribbling down, down, down.........Needless to speak, could it be the most fantastic dinner in Sydney despite that I had tried at variety of restaurants or banquet or feast  whatever is western food or Asian food here. Sorry, I repeat it again, I am a goose or queen bee. ......Another thing we found is the Regal(Fu Hao) and Fu Li Gong belong to the same group. LOL....The reason why we chose the Regal was we wanted to find out a new restaurant to accumulate restaurant record pool so that we can treat parents-in-law coming with the best Chinese food here or introduce other frineds if they visit Sydney. But I admit the price of dish is a blit higher than the same one at other restaurant. On average, it costs at least $30 for each one. What a sham if u miss the chance to taste it.

 

Leaving China Town with chocka, we can't help haivng a fling then walked to The Darling Harbour to look for a pub to have a sit. At last, we picked up Waterhouse Pub located bayside and had a drink. Wind strongly blowed us and we felt fucking freezing but we would rather stand it than move inside. How nice it is to sip the wine and see passengers go through. Under this situation, I really got smashed to do something I couldn't do normally ......

 

到12月9日上午11:30,我来澳洲3年了。人生可能有很多三年，但这三年带给我很多，让我经历了学业、事业、感情、家庭所有该经历和不该经历的，很多故事我没有和朋友或者父母甚至任何一个人分享，因为有些他们不能理解或者根本不能想象发生在我的身上。我的故事就是我的故事，他人听听就过去，所以没必要浪费别人的时间。这三年教会我什么事情都自己面对、自己思考，因为决定是自己做的，后果也应该自己承当，无论是好是坏。但我越来越觉得，其实任何事情没有好与坏，在不同的时间、地点，它的效果是不同的，更应该用辨证法的角度去思考。好的事情发生了，高兴一下，然后马上去做其他事情。坏的事情既然发生了，没什么大不了，过两天再看看，好象痛苦减轻了。就是就是，别那么死心眼。但是，说归说，事情真到自己头上，有时还是心里明白做不出啊.........哈哈！

Last Thursday, taking advantage of going shopping for my XMAS gift, I bought a gift as swap present used at in-house XMAS party on this Tuesday at Angus & Robertson. What's that? Ahha.... SEX PLAY GAME!

 

There are over 60 outrageous ways to tease and please for u and partners. I guess those fun, interactive and unpredictable sex games are enough to make your personal time and get u and ur girlfriend or boyfriend more intimate. Previously I'd never thought I would purchase such kind of gift, but after Andrew as a representative went to Adult Shop to choose a special wedding gift for Max and brought down a puff doll and sex apron, which turned out that we laughed to bow, I begun to realise how local think about adult toy and what sort of gift they probably give depending on occasion. So funny!!!!! Maybe u would ask whether it is appropriate to send a sex play game as XMAS present. Don't worry. I've already known who I will give and am aware of a little what she loves......Wish she could like it.

 

 

 

XMAS is coming, XMAS party is coming, most of people are busy in preparing for it no matter who ur Christian. Last Fri, Verena and I bought some XMAS decoration stuff at Ter'ks, including tinsel, little XMAS tree put at reception and lots of other stuff I couldn't know how to call them. We spent entire afternoon to hang and stick them but those male bustards just looked at us hanging around with smile. Should they give themselves upper cut. When Kate came back on Mon, she was so surprised what we had done and gave us compliment as much as possible without hesitation.

 

This Sat night, our company will have party at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour in the bayside terrace room. As required, everybody attend need to dress black tie. Its the biggest headache for me to work out what kind of party dress I need to have since that I've never had a chance to present this sort of party although I used to see heaps of girls in beaut chiffon or silk strap or strapless dress at Sat night during working at florist at Martin Place. After all I am a conservative girl and my body figure is not absolutely suitable for that kind of clothes while western chicks look so gorgeous wearing fancy costume or attire. Before I tried to get one piece with big brand---Review which is very famous and basically could stand latest fashion, taking advantage of discount time by less than $100 bucks. Definitely, I was supposed to be different and more like a whitesnow princess who is waiting for her prince charming and heard high flattering speach when I got myself in it attending Jen's wedding. That's the first time for me to try it out. At least no regret and a good start. After receiving RSVP I had faced new trouble to buy another one for XMAS party coming because it is unacceptable or impolite for westerners to have the same outfits on different occasion. Shit! Bloody culture! Then yesterday shopping day I made time with Yoyo and Lucia to go to Burwood Westfield for picking a piece of dress with good quality but reasonable price. I really thank Verena to drop me at the entrance. I like Italian girl more and more. Under Yoyo and Lucia's direction and help, I promptly found grey and black chiffon strapless dress and made decision it would be the last choice if I couldn't get better one. Keep seeking, seeking....  First one is always the best one. Finally we returned and locked the initial one. Next we need to choose decoration and handbag mathced with clothe. Even though I am not a cheapskate, I don't like spending money on one-time stuff.

 

At last, see, what I selected is Cute dress, Diva silver twisted necklace, Sportgirl black clutch bag with light bead.

 

BTW, I bought patch bear as present sending to Yoyo and lucia.

 

Wish I have a wonderful Sat night. However according to weather forecast, it will shower and about 20 degree. How come?

 

 

This morning, entering in the office and found that Kate and Michael were already there, I had no surprise about that because they are managers and have more things required to do than our common employees. When I am sitting at desk and reading new Reader's Digest, they guys walked to me then Kate gave me a plain box of Lindt Chocolate with purple ribbon and a card in envelop, saying it is for what I have done at other other sites. What the!!!! For me, its the same where I work, Rockdale, Sutherland or Strathfield, only just for earning money. All right, should I be grateful for their care and concern, after all that presents their regard. Take a pic! To be honest, its the first time to get XMAS gift before XMAX in my life. How important for me it is. It lifts me confidence in work and brings me a good mood at the begining of a working day.

 

However, today is black Friday for Alina. She had termination meeting with Michael, Kate and HR conlleague at 9:00. I can overhear Alina's a bit emotional voice where my place is right beside the meeting room. Frankly speaking, I couldn't let myself release although she always troubled me and took something against me even she is racist for Asian. What she did offered us rocker and all of us complained, but today we all felt a little regret when seeing her go. Human being is a kind of freak sometimes. Okay, let it be.......Unluckily, I have to take reception again until the end of January. Shit and fuck!! Western countries look XMAS too important to lose interest in working just enjoy their holiday so December and January are very quiet months for recruitment and most of companies avoid to new emplyees during that time, otherwise new staffs would have so relaxed first two months in the initial time of new role. Whatever reasons are, her dismissal gets me in embarrassment.

I used to buy some stuff I like on internet in China, which helped me save lots of time and was also my best entertainment during working time. Certainly, I had to say I was money spender on it as long as I could afford. Since arrived to Australia, I've never tried to purchase something on net. Its not that I have no confidence in internet shoppong here, but the reality is I don't have spare or enough money to spend on stuff I love. Actually, I tried to find a chance to start internet shopping one day in Australia.

 

Not long ago, I found all bottles of fragrance I own be out of date, then buying perfume on internet came to my mind after comparing price in Westfield with on internet. Logged on www.bisaros.com.au and picked up my favourite brand Hugo Boss---Deep Red which is also my sister's taste and submited order.....after that just waited and waited.....a week past, no response. I got to ring up to ask what's going on my order. I was told the perfume had been sent out and supposed to get it the next day. Okay, I would keep eyes on reception or mail box. But, several days later, nothing happened. ....Called Bisaros Pharmacy, Sara said they already posted out and didn't know what's happening. After contacting with post office and not getting positive feedback, then she confirmed address with me again and informed me she was going to post out the second time.......a couple of days went on, didn't see any post card or courier.....constantly called Sara and let her double check....eventually she asked me to choose any way, to get refund by credit card or to provide another address they can send. How strongly I want to have a new bottle of perfume before XMAS, so I gave her home address.

 

Now still waiting and waiting.....

 

On lunch time, Andrew brought down a box of Jenga Game and played with me. Hoooray!!! I won! What's that? Its classic wood stacking game and suitable 2 more players, ages 7+, especially family with kids. See, pic! You can move a block from the bottom and add it to the top without causing a complete collapse. going and going.....the one who gets it down will be loser.
